One of the most popular girls birthday party is the princess party as all girls want to be a princess. This article will bring together a number of ideas and suggestions to help with putting together the perfect princess party.
Planning for a Princess Party
As with all successful childrens birthday party the key is planning. Spend time before the party, and we do not mean the day before, gathering together supplies and ideas for activities. Spreading the cost over a couple months reduces the impact on the bank account.
A big advantage of holding a princess party is there is a wide range of products available from tableware, dressing up to party bags. Its up to you on how far you want to take it.
Use a themed invite to alert guests that it is a princess party. Do not make dressing up compulsory as some guests may not have the appropriate outfits, though you will probably find most will be dressed princess-ly.

Edinburgh Zoo, A Place For Kids And Adults Alike
Edinburgh Zoo was established in 1911 and has been on the same site ever since. It has developed over the years to become one of the most enjoyable, educational and exciting zoos to visit, especially if you’re looking for a day out you can share with your children.
How to Get There and Parking Facilities
The zoo is located around two miles out of the city centre in the suburb of Corstorphine. There is a good number of local service buses that run past the zoo (12, 26 or 31). The best thing to do is ask the driver to give you a shout when you get to the zoo. They are more than happy to do so. Either that or the masses of parents with kids getting off at the same stop may give it away.
If you are arriving by car either from the city centre or from the bypass keep an eye out for the Holiday Inn Hotel as the zoo is right next door. That would be an unusual wake up call if you stay there.

Food and DrinkNo Comments
A child’s birthday party can be quite a big thing to organise if you’ve never done anything like it before. There are many things to take into consideration - the decorations, the games and activities, the entertainment and the food and drink. We’ve put together a little guide that we hope will aid you in your preparations for the day
Food And Drink For Your Kids Party
The first thing to think about when considering what to serve up at the party is if there will be any children with allergies or medical conditions which will need to be taken into account. This is very important as some allergic reactions can be very serious, a nut allergy, for example, while not too common, is one of the more serious you have too look out for.
The best way to deal with this is, when you’re organising the party list a couple of weeks beforehand, check with all the parents of the kids who will be arriving on the day to find out if there is anything you should be aware of when preparing or serving food.
